Why CEX-Funded Buys
A CEX-Funded Buys alert means buyers whose funds came directly from a centralized exchange appeared.
Day to day, a buy is a fact. The reason behind it is a guess. Hat Nest uses the CEX-Funded Buys channel for the facts and keeps the guessing for later.
Wallet alerts show what money did, which is harder to fake than a post. Hat Nest follows CEX-Funded Buys on Solana and asks whose wallets they are and what they did before.
First look: Check whether several buying wallets were funded from one source a few minutes earlier. Compare the buy size with pool liquidity; a buy that moves price far is also hard to exit.

- market cap at least $20.0K
- liquidity at least $10.0K
- top-10 wallets holding at most 40 %
Checked against the latest 31 alerts in the lane (about 3 days): 28 passed. Median values for the passing alerts: cap $584.2K, liquidity $71.2K, holders 249. 5 out of 31 alerts showed a pool smaller than a tenth of the cap — a warning sign on its own. Median concentration in the lane: 22 % of supply in the top ten wallets.
